This winning bench design at the Floating Gardens in the Royal Docks is part of the exhibition for London Architecture Festival.
This bench is using plastic waste collected in the local community. Those materials are recycled and redesigned into a pattern that echoes with the historic structures of the royal dock at the River Thames.

Standing as a socio-cultural sculptural piece, we hope this could show to the society how we are encountering the situation related to the city and nature.
And hopefully, we could adopt this approach into a larger scale project in Hong Kong!
